CDA National Reserve is a private golf and sporting club of roughly 1,000 acres on the west side of Lake Coeur d'Alene, built around a Tom Weiskopf course. As the community's director of real estate sales, I get asked the same handful of questions by every buyer, so here are the answers in one place.
What you can buy
Homesites: custom lots of about a half acre to an acre, many above the fairways with lake and mountain views. Recent 2026 homesite listings ran from about $2 million to $2.8 million for the best lake and golf positions, including Homesites 56 and 57.
The Fairway Lodges and Lake Lodges: the club's new residences, part of a $165 million expansion. The Fairway Lodges start around $2 million and the Lake Lodges around $3.5 million. Read the full story in Inside CDA National Reserve's $165M Expansion.
Custom homes: new mountain-modern homes near the clubhouse, some offered fully furnished.
The Ranches: gated acreage homesites of ten acres and more. See The Ranches at CDA National.
How membership works
Membership is reserved for real estate owners and capped to match the number of residential lots, which is why there are no tee times. On most resales, membership is not included in the price and is applied for and purchased separately. Some new homes include the membership fee in the price, subject to club approval. I walk every buyer through the current terms before an offer.
The life around the homes
Beyond golf there is a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, a fitness and training center, tennis and pickleball, a stocked fishing pond, a hunt club with sporting clays, and the Lakehouse on Lake Coeur d'Alene with boat slips, beach access and water toys. The main gate sits roughly across the road from The Golf Club at Black Rock, south of Coeur d'Alene.
What to check before you buy
- Build envelope, view corridor and design guidelines for any homesite.
- Membership availability and the full annual cost, not just the purchase price.
- Timing: lodges and custom homes under construction have delivery dates to plan around.
- How the home compares with Black Rock next door and with open-lake waterfront.

Because I work inside the Reserve, I can show you homesites and homes that are not widely marketed and tell you honestly which one fits how you will use it. If CDA National is on your list, let's talk.
